We also offer a full restaurant menu which leans heavily towards island style cuisine, including such dishes as island style curries, Jamaican schwarma's, stir fries, jerk and creole dishes as well as lots of basket dishes to share between friends. Cool Runnings also offers regular special nights, including student's night on a Monday, live bands down in the dungeon on Tuesdays (entrance is R20), a funky latino band playing from 1pm onwards every Saturday - they're called Yes Brazil! And a jammin' reggae band that pops up every now and again. We have a complete gig guide on our web space. And of course our now famous 'Comedy Underground' on a Sunday night hosted by the hilarious Mr. John Vlismas and his sidekick Bevan Cullinan... be warned... it's first come first served, so start queuing at about 18:30.
All in all, Cool Runnings is the complete party venue and as the old Jamaican saying goes... 'Peace be da journey mon!!'

From the N1 (Western Bypass) take the Beyers Naudé turnoff and travel through Blackheath, Cresta and Risidale towards Melville. When you get to Melville, Beyers Naudé becomes Main.
Turn left into 4th Avenue from Main.
