Originally from Montego Bay, Jamaica, by the age of 18 Able Rate Writer Luron Claude ‘Shiner’ Wright had completed a degree in Electrical Engineering Specialising in Telecommunications from the island’s University of Technology. Wanting to do something different and make his own life choices, he took the decision to join Royal Navy.
