St. Kitts to honour reggae icon Bob Marley

The Federation of St. Kitts/Nevis has joined in the annual worldwide celebration of world renowned Jamaican reggae icon, Robert (Bob) Nesta Marley.

The salute to the dubbed, “first third world superstar” and “Rasta prophet” will be held tomorrow at Club Kactus, Basseterre, St. Kitts.

Romeo Paris, manager of Club Kactus, said plans are once again on track for the second annual Bob Marley tribute, celebrated under the theme, “Daddy B we miss you”.

According to Parris, being “half Jamaican”, he felt it imperative to stage an event that seeks to recognise the legendary Rastafarian- reggae singer.
